The hair trends we will see a lot of this winter

I'm not very extravagant when it comes to my own hairstyle. At most, a few blonde highlights here and there, and if I'm in a really crazy mood, a balayage. You won't see me quickly opting for bright colors and complicated updos. Occasionally, I throw it in rollers, and if you can fry a portion of fries in it, I comb it back into a tight ponytail. Because: nice and easy and honestly always good. Those ‘perfect’ messy buns and complicated braids never worked for me in the past, and still don't; they are definitely not meant for me. But I will have to change something about that now, as those are exactly the trends for this winter. I'll list them out for you.
Bows
To brighten up these super gloomy days ahead, hair bows have made a comeback. I know: it sounds very girly-girl and it is a bit, but it doesn't always have to be frumpy. Combine it with a ponytail or a loose braid, throw on some mom jeans, and wear sneakers underneath. That way, it doesn't have to look like you just had your first school day in grade 6.

Up high
You just have to find the time for it, but if you miraculously have a few minutes in the morning: divide your hair, braid it, and pin it up with some bobby pins in the form of a bun. It doesn't have to be neat, as long as it goes up. At the Chanel show, it was definitely a thing, so let's remember that.

Brunette butter
I think it's a universal thing: in the summer, we go blonder, and as soon as the sun disappears behind the clouds, we all go for the darker dye. This autumn, brunette is the way to go (obviously), with lighter accents at the bottom. Very subtle. Those broken strands can also recover for a bit.

The short bob
The bob is here to stay. I was, am, and will always be a fan of a short hairstyle. In one go, you elevate your look to another level. Am I brave enough to do it myself? I'm not entirely sure yet, but let's just say: the temptation is growing.

The side part
Just when you thought it was gone, it comes back: the side part. On the runway at Acne Studios and Fendi, the side part was unmistakable. And honestly: I don't think it's such a bad idea that it's making a comeback. Always having a correct middle part gets boring, doesn't it?
