Hotel tips Dubai: this is where you want to sleep

It's been a while since I was there, in January to be exact, but I still genuinely miss it. Although it's getting a bit less now that the sun in the Netherlands is finally starting to shine, it remains my best idea of the year to literally escape my winter depression and buy a ticket to Dubai. I had never been there before, but I already know that this coming year it will once again be my plan. And where will I stay? Definitely in one of the hotels listed below; then I know it will at least be a very relaxing getaway.
This is where I slept, but they really have a lot of locations in Dubai. In fact, right next to this hotel is another Jumeirah hotel, where there is also a souq that you can visit (by boat). It's truly an amazing hotel that feels almost more like a village. You are taken by caddy to the different restaurants (handy for me, because I got lost immediately). And you really want to try those restaurants, especially Pierchic and Pai Thai.

Anantara also has many locations in Dubai; I stayed on the World Islands, where you are taken by boat. If you're afraid that Dubai is too overwhelming, too busy, and too hectic; here you will find peace. This resort is located on a private island, all accommodations are wonderfully private and spacious, and from the terrace, you can still see the Burj Khalifa and the light show in the evening. The skyline from Dubai is also well visible here, and that remains a very beautiful sight.

Yes, this is the newest hotel in Dubai that Beyoncé managed to secure for their opening. Nothing was too crazy during this opening, and almost all of Hollywood was there, while they were downing bottles of 818 (Kendall Jenner's tequila). The hotel is truly gi-gantic, just like the pool and all the restaurants. If you're not going to sleep here, a visit to Nobu is still worth it.

4. JW Marriott Marquis Dubai Hotel
I won't sugarcoat it: Dubai is expensive, very expensive. You know that in advance, so hopefully, you've factored that in a bit. But if you want to save on a hotel, this is a very good option: it's a nice, clean, and spacious hotel that is a lot more affordable. Plus: the location is also very good.

One of my favorite TikTokers, Anna Paul, always stays here and raves about it. Well, if it's good enough for her, it's good enough for me: there is a very large private beach, and if you have a high room, you also have an amazing view.
