Joran van der Sloot convicted again

I feel so sorry for his mother

Joran van der Sloot

Do you remember? That episode of Pauw & Witteman where Joran van der Sloot was with his parents? His poor mother who truly acknowledged that she didn't have the easiest son on earth, but who completely believed in his good nature. Something that turned out to be hard to believe during that broadcast when Joran just, whoosh, threw his glass of red wine in Peter R. de Vries' face.

Meanwhile, Joran, still suspected of the disappearance of Natalee Holloway, has murdered another girl, Stephany Flores (he didn't think it was that strange because he had used drugs and thought she was a monster or something, so yeah, what do you do then, he once explained it so lightly) and now he has been sentenced to another ten years in prison because he was smuggling drugs in prison. He hid them in sugar beets and smuggled them out of prison through a fellow inmate or a family member.

And oh yes, in 2014 he got married in prison to a Peruvian woman who sold goods to the inmates. Joran's lawyer was a witness at the wedding and the couple has a child.

Oh, how I feel sorry for his mother. And for his child. And for the mother of Natalee Holloway. And for the parents of Stephany Flores…
