Kevin Hart is currently in a wheelchair
Wow, heavy news: actor and comedian Kevin Hart is temporarily in a wheelchair, as he himself reports on Instagram. ’44 and sitting my ass down,’ he begins his caption, after which he calls himself ’the dumbest man alive.’ ‘I blew my shit… I’m done. FML.’
He also explains how this happened and what exactly is going on: Hart wanted to race against his friend, NFL player Stevan Ridley. Seems like a clumsy plan to do something like that against a professional athlete, but okay. This went completely wrong: he made a bet with Ridley that he would win the sprint, but came home from a pretty cold fair.
During this sprint, Hart tore his lower abdomen (ouch) and also his ‘abductors.’ No idea what that is, but he doesn’t know either: ‘I don’t know what that is but I tore them. […] I can’t walk.’
This is not the first time Kevin Hart has sustained serious injury: in 2019 he broke his back in a severe car accident. Now he is in a wheelchair after a sprint... And he doesn’t know for how long. He also posted the video on Instagram because he didn’t want to scare people when they saw him on the street. According to him, he is still in a wheelchair for the time being, which naturally raises a lot of questions if people don’t know the story behind it.
He concludes with a lesson: don’t do crazy things after your forties, because it can cost you dearly.
