Kylie Jenner spotted at Paris Fashion Week with lion head
Never a dull moment in the life of Kylie Jenner. Last Saturday she casually shared the name of her son on Instagram (Aire), today she had a fashion show from Paris Fashion Week on her schedule where she showed up with a lion's head. I was genuinely shocked when I saw these photos, but no worries: it's a fake head. Of a fake lion. But holy shit, it looks very real.
I also think it must be quite a workout, constantly lifting such a lion's head on your shoulder. If the question that comes to your mind is: why?!: I get you, and so I went to find out what on earth is going on here.
Kylie was a guest at the Schiaparelli show, where pieces from their spring and summer collection of 2023 were showcased. Among others, Naomi Campbell walked in their show, wearing the head of a gigantic black wolf on her shoulder. The whole show had quite an animal theme; the new collection is inspired by Inferno by Dante and the nine circles of hell. In that poem by Dante, three animals are mentioned: the leopard, the lion, and a she-wolf. Aha. Model Shalom Harlow was spotted on the runway for that reason wearing a strapless dress that burst with a large leopard head.
But anyway, as I said: they were all fake animals, handmade. That doesn't change the fact that they look extremely real and that I honestly hope this doesn't become a new trend this year. Although we will definitely get some pretty muscular arm and shoulder muscles from it. But pretty? Nah, not really my thing.
