Largest ZARA in the world now open in Rotterdam

Am I secretly a bit happy that I live in Amsterdam and not in Rotterdam, because this would be very bad for my wallet. The CEO of ZARA, Óscar García-Maceiras, confirmed some time ago to FashionNetwork that they will soon open the largest ZARA in the world in the Maas city, and from then on we really couldn't wait any longer. And if you know a bit about how big some locations already are, you immediately understood: this one would be gi-gantic. LOVE IT. And the best news: you can finally see it all for yourself starting today, because the store is finally open. RIP to your bank account…
To be precise, the new location covers 9000 square meters and also has a whole ZARA Home department. With so much space to walk around, shopping is almost a workout — so you can also use that as an excuse to go by today.
By the way, the record for the largest store in the world was only broken last year; a location was opened on the Plaza de España in Madrid that proudly held that title for a year and a half. The area there was 7700 square meters, making ‘our’ new ZARA quite a bit larger.
So it's open from today, and it will probably get quite busy — but with 9000 square meters, I doubt you'll be stepping on each other's toes. Happy shopping today!
