Leonardo DiCaprio was also at Coachella

Did we have serious FOMO from Coachella this past weekend? My entire TikTok was filled with it, and it seemed like every celeb and influencer was actually present this year. From Justin Bieber and Hailey Bieber (who, by the way, were not spotted together), Kendall, Shawn Mendes kissing Camila Cabello (ooooh yes, love is in the air — again) and Leonardo DiCaprio. The latter actually goes to Coachella every year, but this year people had some comments about him.
The actor is now 48 and therefore no longer quite fits the average age of Coachella. That's perfectly fine (I personally still find him incredibly handsome), but his dress code was what people were talking about this year. Dressed in a black cap and a striking gold chain, people felt he was going for a younger wardrobe, but that backfired: he was mainly described as that one dad who picks you up from a party you’re embarrassed about.

He was spotted talking to Irina Shayk and Stella Maxwell, who didn’t seem very interested in his story — and that’s why the comparison with this meme was quickly made.
And further, it went wild on Reddit in the comments: ‘Well, at least these women are over 25… So they must just be friends.’ ‘That combination of black shirt with gold chain is an… interesting combination in these modern times.’ ‘He is an Oscar-winning, world-famous actor worth millions, and yet he dresses like he just stepped out of a time machine from 2003.’ ‘Leonardo DiCaprio in Jersey Shore style, I didn’t really expect that.’
Well, in the end, it’s just a black shirt and a gold chain, but still, everyone has an opinion about it. It mainly makes me think of this at an event like Coachella:
