Just a bit about Rihanna's Met Gala looks

By

If we're talking about the Met Gala, then as far as we're concerned, Badgal Riri is it completely. Although there was a brief moment of doubt about whether she would even show up, Rihanna and A$AP Rocky were spotted outside the hotel right at ten o'clock. Rihanna wore a fur coat from Fendi's autumn/winter 1997 collection, designed by Karl Lagerfeld and worn on the runway by Naomi Campbell. Our fashion hearts skipped a beat. Not long after, it was especially very fashionably and a bit too late Rihanna who was spotted on ‘the staircase of staircases’ with her A$AP Rocky.

Rihanna from head to toe
It's the insane wedding dress with an extra large cape adorned with a messy five hundred petals that formed thirty beautiful camellia appliqués (where, oh my god, 30 working hours per flower are involved). The silk, custom-made dress for Rihanna and her baby on board is the work of Maison Valentino. As she walked down the stairs, Rihanna loosened the cape to show a final detail: a low waist that accentuated her pregnant belly even more.

Eye and ear catchers
Furthermore, it's the must-see eye-catcher of a white sunglasses adorned with fake eyelashes that provided extra points on Rihanna's nose. Her ear catchers are also wild, which in turn perfectly matched the white floral appliqués on her nails.

Fenty forever
For Rihanna's standards, she kept her beauty look classic this year: a bit of white eyeshadow and a bright red lip. ’A personal touch with a beautiful Uncensored lip paint red lipstick, which perfectly matched her white Valentino look,’ said Lotte, our beauty editor. Of course, she was full glam with her own Fenty collection. And to be honest: why use another brand when your own products are the best, right? Girl boss.

And then a little about A$AP Rocky and his outfit...
A$AP Rocky wore a black blazer with a white shirt and black leather tie combined with a kilt dipped in rhinestones and topped off with a messy three belts layered in all over Gucci. The inspiration behind his look? Karl Lagerfeld was known for his love of Scotland and wore a similar look on the catwalk of a Chanel show in Tokyo in 2004. How cool?
