We always thought that especially Xenos and Action of the crazy products were. Drinks with birthday cake flavor for example, or gummy bears with a layer of chocolate around them. Typical things that you first stare at with big question marks, only to secretly find them quite tasty. Now Zeeman is coming up with something like this too: marshmallows with chocolate croissant flavor.

I don't know about you, but I want to run to my favorite budget store for this right now.

Everything croissant
Croissants have been totally hip in supermarket product innovation land lately. There was already a chocolate creep with croissant flavor and croissant ice cream, both from Crisp. We really thought (think!) they were heaven. These marshmallows with chocolate croissant flavor from Zeeman can only be delicious. To make it even a bit better: there is really a liquid core of chocolate spread inside. Literally a chocolate croissant in marshmallow form.

The honest review from Livingproef
Livingproef, that fun supermarket product testing team from Instagram, already put it to the test this week. Disappointing: they were not overly enthusiastic about it. Yes, about that chocolate spread in the middle of course, everyone loves that. They called it really innovative. But the quality of the marshmallow itself was just very disappointing. According to the Livingproef team, not the best ingredients were used to make this product. Meh. Still, it doesn't stop me from wanting to get them at home soon. I just can't get the idea of a chocolate croissant in the form of a marshmallow out of my head.

Also at Zeeman: soft serve marshmallows
Those who are croissant tired can also try the soft serve marshmallows. They literally come in the shape and flavor of a soft serve ice cream. But honestly: as new as the chococroissant marshmallow is, this is not. Do we want it anyway? That seems clear to me.

More marshmallows?
Marshmallow maniacs can indulge, because there is plenty to make with this sugar bomb. What you absolutely want to do: bake marshmallow cheesecake. Because that is cheesecake with marshmallows on top – no further explanation needed I think. Also delicious and incredibly fun: Flügel marshmallow shots. With that, you give something different than that standard vodka shot to your drinking buddies. For the real creatives, we still have a recipe to make marshmallows yourself.
