The former tweets of Hailey Bieber are out in the open

No idea how you all feel, but I am totally invested in the drama surrounding Hailey Bieber, Selena Gomez, and Kylie Jenner. No idea what I'm talking about? No problem, I'll catch you up in a flash.

As we all know, Selena Gomez had a relationship with Justin; it was on-again, off-again for seven years, until it was finally over in 2018. Just three months after that break-up, Justin started dating Hailey Bieber, a month later he proposed to her, and two months after that, in September 2018, the two got married.

The relationship between Selena and Justin was always in the news (they were affectionately called Jelena) and many fans were not happy that Justin suddenly went for Hailey. Many fans believe that he doesn't actually like Hailey that much, and that Selena will always be his true love. There have also been rumors for years that Hailey really has a deep-seated dislike for Selena — rumors that were finally put to rest last October when the two were photographed together. Finally, there was peace between Team Selena and Team Hailey.

Well... Until recently. Selena was photographed by paparazzi while wearing a swimsuit and immediately received a ton of criticism because she was a bit heavier than before. In response, she said that she had just eaten a bit more and that the medication she takes for lupus also causes her to gain some weight — and that she couldn't care less. Wonderful response. A day later, Hailey Bieber posted a TikTok where she lip-syncs about karma and says God always gets you. Okay, suspicious timing, although Hailey swore up and down that it wasn't about Selena.

Fast forward to last week, when Selena posted an innocent video on TikTok saying that her eyebrows were a bit too laminated. And sure enough, Hailey jumped on that again, with bestie Kylie Jenner by her side; the latter posted two stories on Instagram about eyebrows, but still denied that this was about Selena. This timing felt a bit too suspicious to me personally, and besides: without the context of Selena, those Stories really make no sense.

Selena's fans thought so too, and now they have declared war on Hailey and Kylie. And if you didn't know yet: Selena's fans are almost as powerful as Taylor Swift's fans, so you don't want them against you. Both celebs have lost a million followers, while Selena has gained no less than nine million (and in terms of followers, Kylie Jenner has now been caught up on Instagram, which she probably won't appreciate). Hailey's TikToks are flooded with comments suggesting she should try the amazing brand Rare Beauty (Selena's makeup brand, which is indeed amazing) for her looks, and she also receives emojis of red flags and other mean comments under her videos.

But what might be even worse: Selena's fans have dug into the archives, namely Hailey Bieber's Twitter account. She has since deleted it, but these screenshots will always haunt her. What turns out? Hailey was once a huge Justin Bieber fan and regularly tweeted about Jelena. Quite scandalous; check out the screenshots below.

What makes it all just a bit worse is that Hailey was really active in Justin Bieber's fandom back in the day. She had contact with several fans and always wanted to know which hotel Justin was staying at in each city, so she could ‘coincidentally’ drop by. Her phone was also hacked a few years ago, revealing messages where she expressed her displeasure about the fact that Justin and Selena were spotted together again.

Well, not easy days for Hailey Bieber. But I have to honestly admit: I am a hundred percent Team Selena, and this Mean Girl look that Hailey Bieber has been going for lately seems to come very naturally to her... But I guess she still didn't expect that the Selenators (Selena's fans) could be so intense — and online bullying, in any form and for any reason, is not okay. The bizarre comments thrown at her are something no one deserves.
