Yesterday was the first Monday of May, also known as: Met o’clock. All the greats and goods have gathered, creating an overload of ‘say whats’ and ‘wows’ on the red carpet where pearls, black and white, and flowers take center stage. The theme was ‘Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty’, a tribute to the designer icon, legend, and creative director at fashion houses like Chanel, Fendi, and Chloé.

Did the stylists of the biggest players in the fashion world succeed this year? From Doja Cat in her Oscar de la Renta dress inspired by Karl's cat Choupette, complete with sparkling cat ears and even a facial prosthesis with whiskers, to fashionably late Rihanna in a gigantic wedding dress and cape adorned with 500 flower petals.
