The 3 Christmas movies you must see this week

Itβs the moooost wonderful time of the yeaaaar. A lovely song, but I've never been able to relate to that text. Yes, it is the most beautiful time of the year in Cape Town and in Australia, where they can just lie on the beach with a cocktail in hand. I just wasn't made for a cold Christmas, no matter how much I would like that. I need to be warm, and that's why you can mostly find me with the heater on, under a blanket with a cup of tea in my hand. And of course, there's a wonderfully cheesy Christmas movie on TV.
In that respect, I find it the nicest time of the year; I can't get enough of Christmas movies. Fortunately, quite a few new ones come out every year, but the tricky part is that keeping track can be a bit difficult. That's tricky with Christmas movies: they can be fun-bad or just bad, and of course, you prefer to skip the latter category.
I get it. That's why I've lined up the three best Christmas movies of this week for you, so you can get through this week just fine.

1. Family Switch
A new addition on Netflix and I think it's so crazy. Jennifer Garner and Ed Helms are in it, so it can't go wrong, but when they also switch bodies with their kids, my 13 Going On 30 joy is completely fulfilled, because it reminds me a bit of that. This movie is wonderfully sweet and easy to watch. Oscar material? Far from it, but it's exactly what you need.

2. Best. Christmas. Ever!
I'm a big fan of the old stars they have brought back for the Christmas movies on Netflix. This gem can also deliver: Jason Biggs, Heather Graham, Brandy (you know, the singer from back in the day), and the movie is further wonderfully hysterical. There isn't a single believable scene in it, but that doesn't have to be the case with a Christmas movie.

3. Catering Christmas
Okay okay, this one is a bit too cheesy, but I still enjoyed it a lot. It leans more towards a Hallmark movie, but if that's your taste, you'll really enjoy this. And I have even better news for you: Netflix is full of this kind of movies this year. B&B Merry, Fall Into Winter, and A Merry Christmas Wish are actually more of the same. Oops, it turned out to be more than three tips...
