Netflix Tip of the Day: A Completely Ordinary Family

Cancel all your plans tonight and this weekend, because there is an incredibly exciting new series on Netflix. How do they do it, over there in Scandinavia? The series they produce are always so thrilling, and then (I think) mainly the Swedish ones. Caliphate is still in my top five series of all time, and this new addition is also Swedish and at least just as thrilling.
Helt Valig Familj is also known as A Nearly Normal Family (if you watch it dubbed) and revolves around nineteen-year-old Stella, who is accused of murder. Her father is a priest, her mother a lawyer, and she is their only child. They live in a respectable neighborhood outside Lund and there seems to be no cloud in the sky, until one day Stella is arrested because she is suspected of murder.

The first reaction of her parents is of course pure panic, and they try to get Stella released as quickly as possible. Proving that she is innocent is of course the fastest way. But when they try to do that, many questions arise. Do they really know their daughter as well as they thought?
As I already said: really an incredibly exciting series that keeps you guessing in the dark until the end. Kalifat remains absolutely my favorite, but it's really not far off. A recommendation, this one.
