Netflix tip of the Day: The Out-Laws

Of course, I have a delicious Netflix tip for you today. And of course... It's another romcom. But one with a star-studded cast that will impress you, where the acting is actually good and it doesn't just contain romance; there's also a lot of action in it. An action romcom? I've been realizing since the movie Ghosted (with Chris Evans and Ana de Armas) that this is a genre I really enjoy. But seriously: with this cast, it can't really go wrong.

The main roles are played by Adam Devine (Owen) and Nina Dobrev (Parker) who are about to say 'I do' to each other. But then Parker's parents suddenly show up at the door, who are quite peculiar beings. They are played by Pierce Brosnan (and in the trailer, there's already an inside joke about James Bond: love it) and Ellen Barkin. Owen's parents are also in the picture and are played by Neil Browning and Julie Hagerty.

What about the action aspect of the film? While Parker's parents are there, the bank where Owen is a customer is robbed by the notorious Ghost Bandits. Owen becomes convinced that his future in-laws are part of this violent gang.

The best news? The Out-Laws is now on Netflix, so it's perfect for your lazy Saturday or Sunday, or just for a movie night on the couch. Just check the trailer; this is really fun.
