12 x why you want to spend your next vacation at this glamping resort
Made possible by il sole, or the Italian sun, the panoramic view of Lake Garda and the Gulf of Salò, San Felice del Benaco, our little house and the beloved Vacanze col Cuore team is our holiday address from last week, a mega tip that I want to share with you today, just home. Whether you love a luxury resort or are part of the adventurous camping team, in all cases, here are twelve reasons why you want to spend your next holiday at Glamping Resort Weekend: Camping doesn’t have to be basic here. For example, there is the Air Lodge including the first floor, there are Coco suites with beds like you are used to in a hotel, there are fancy tents of over 35 square meters including private bathroom and there are comfort camping spots with private sanitary facilities to book. Look, now we’re talking, right?
– Want something even more luxurious? Then there are thirteen different mobile homes to book. We slept in the Cottage Next XXL including veranda, barbecue, super chill hanging chairs, lovely beds, kitchen (+ Nespresso machine: buongiorno!), spacious bathroom and air conditioning. A mega tip, tip, tip. There are also Next XL Panorama Specials with indeed, a panoramic view over Lake Garda and a jacuzzi.
– For fun but certainly also for zen, there is the swimming pool. Or actually pools: a large pool, a children's pool with slide (which Enzo I guess has taken about 300 times on repeat), two whirlpools (fav!) and a slide that ends in a lagoon with a super beautiful view.
– Lunching with burrata or a sushi bowl and in the evening trying the best Italian pizzas from the wood oven, pastas according to Italian tradition or ordering a fresh fish or good piece of meat is everything you want to try in the restaurant at the resort.
– Oh, and the wine cellar is also very well stocked here so you can enjoy the best wines from the region. And if you find a favorite, you can easily score it in the wine shop where white wine, red wine, and rosé from the vineyards around Lake Garda are offered.
– Bike fiew. Whether it’s on your veranda, by the pool, or during dinner in the restaurant; everywhere the view is breathtakingly beautiful. You look out over Lake Garda, the Gulf of Salò, and green hills illuminated by picturesque villages.
– The iced coffee is worth 100 points. Just as you hope to get it, the bartender makes it for you. Delizioso!
– Oh, and the homemade gelato from the ice cream parlor is also everything and with a new flavor every day, absolutely worth trying.
– The animation team: so sweet, personal, and always cheerful. Do you have children? Then you want Teun and his two girls Zoë and Jetske around them. For the little kids (0-6 years) there is the Spotty Mini Club and for the bigger ones (7-12 years) the Spotty Kids Club. From crafting and horseback riding every morning to the splash disco in the pool in the afternoon, TikTok dance lessons, and in the evening the Spotty mini disco: Enzo is still talking about it 24/7. There is also the Spotty Green Club, a club where the mini's learn everything about nature, animals, growing plants and flowers, insects, and recycling, and there are treasure hunts in the woods. Personal favorite: the Spotty stamp card. With this, all children with a full stamp card can choose a gift, so sweet!
And now I hear you thinking… Spotty who? Dancing, playing, and taking pictures (thanks Spot, so mom and dad can chill for a bit) your children do with Spotty the dalmatian, the official mascot of Vacanze col Cuore. From the cookie in your ice cream to water spouting in the pool: Spotty is all over the place.
– Also nice: the mini market. You literally don’t have to leave the resort if you don’t feel like it. From freshly baked rolls and croissants and fruit for a next level breakfast on the veranda to the best Italian specialties to enjoy: you can get it all just around the corner from your accommodation.
– And how could it be otherwise with a dog as a mascot: dogs are very welcome here. There are special Next XL Superior Dog cabins to book and there are pitches available on the campsite for your four-legged friend. You also see various sizes of drinking bowls in the restaurant and there is a special forest where you can let your dogs run and play freely, including obstacles, guided paths, and jumping circles for an optimal holiday feeling for you and your doggie in bella Italia.
– And last but certainly not least: at Vacanze col Cuore there is extra attention for a green and environmentally friendly holiday vibe. Their motto: a greater responsibility for the environment and a greater awareness of energy consumption. That’s why they have installed the climacard in all mobile homes (a rechargeable card used for managing the air conditioning), a system that allows you to moderate and control consumption during your glamping holiday.
