In the ‘handy’ category, WhatsApp has added a new feature that you will probably be happy about. Of course, they already had the option to delete your message if you are not completely happy with the text, but if you find that a bit too drastic, this will make your life easier. Yes: with WhatsApp, you can now edit your sent messages.

You do need to be somewhat quick: you can edit your message up to fifteen minutes after sending it. It’s also good to know that the recipient will see that the message has been edited, as it will be noted in small letters. How do you edit a message? Just hold down the text and then click on edit. Handy.

But there is another feature that I think will make people even happier. It is now possible to secure chats. These can only be opened with a password or facial recognition, and otherwise, the chat cannot be read. Good to know: notifications are turned off for secured chats, but it’s ideal if there is sensitive info that you don’t want to share with others.

WhatsApp, you are doing great there. If only the camera in WhatsApp could be a bit better, I would be completely satisfied.
