Oh yes: a very nice romcom is coming to Netflix

Mark July 27 in your calendar, because another delightful romcom is heading to Netflix. The trailer has just dropped and I can hardly say it (I'm afraid I'll jinx it), but this looks like a romcom we haven't had in a long time. Namely: no cliché storyline. Whuuut.

Okay, of course it remains a romcom so we will get a loving couple with a happy ending, but the how-what-why is quite refreshing in Happiness for Beginners. In fact, maybe there will be tears flowing here.

Happiness for Beginners tells the story of Helen, who has always led a somewhat proper life. She has never taken many risks, always colored within the lines — that kind of stuff. Now she has recently divorced and decides to turn her life around. She signs up to do the ‘Adventure of a Lifetime’ with a group. In other words: hiking with a group of strangers in nature. Can't go wrong, right?

The fellow hikers are a special group of people, with one person in particular standing out: Jake. He already knows Helen, because he is the best friend of her little brother. Yep, you can see it coming: they are definitely going to find each other in nature.

Moreover, I think it's going to be a very sweet, funny movie and when I see the trailer, there are also plenty of beautiful images of the nature in which it takes place. Yes, this could very well be the surprise of the month.
