Do you love oysters and are you always curious about where to eat the best ones in the city? Then this outing is one you want to do: the oyster walk in Rotterdam.

Rotterdam is bursting with fun restaurants. Wine bar Square ’47, Grace Festive restaurant and high-end star restaurant Fred**, to name just a few of our favorite places lately. And do you know what else you can eat well in 010? Oysters! To get acquainted with them, Shannice Wilner & Leonne Stentler are organizing an oyster walk through the city.

Oyster walk
In Amsterdam, they could warm up, as an oyster walk was already organized during corona, but now it's Rotterdam's turn. This first Rotterdam walk is mapped out by the Katendrecht district and the City Triangle and takes place on Saturday, May 20, 2023.

Good oysters, nice route
During the first edition in Rotterdam, you walk from the City Triangle via the Erasmus Bridge to Katendrecht. Apart from the nice route, which Leonne even considers one of the nicest parts of Rotterdam, restaurants known for the quality of their oysters have also been looked at. Besides slurping oysters with a corresponding drink, the walk includes fun facts, an oyster quiz, and more entertainment.

Tickets oyster walk
On Saturday, May 20, it kicks off at Pesca. At the five participating restaurants, two oysters will be served or one oyster with a drink. The rest of the participating restaurants will remain a surprise for a while. You start the walk between 12:00-14:30 and end at 17:00 at the last restaurant in the Fenix Food Factory. The cost is 39 euros (+ 1 euro service fee).
