Everything you need to know about the Super Bowl

The annual event was yesterday again, but you could hardly escape it. Just a quick quiz question beforehand: do you have any idea who actually had to play against each other at the Super Bowl yesterday? No, me neither. But didn't Rihanna look amazing, huh? That's what I want to talk to you about.
What amazes me every year is that the halftime show is done for free, while so much work goes into it (and the commercials cost millions). The artists get zero-point-zero for it, except for publicity. Quite remarkable.
This concert by Rihanna was her first since January 2018; she performed at the 60th Grammy Awards then, with the song Wild Thoughts. She doesn't make it easy for her fans anyway, as her last album is already from 2016, something her fans are all too eager to remind her of.
But well, they were finally treated to a long-awaited concert. I read not such enthusiastic reactions, so I was a bit scared. But holy shit, did those critics see the same concert as I did? Rihanna often gets criticized for not being a good live performer, but I thought she sang amazingly. Opening with B*tch Better Have My Money was considered a bad choice by many, but I really think that's a great song.
Where Have You Been, the song that followed, could have been skipped for me, but the performance was full of hits, wrapped in a remix jacket as if I was back in the Amsterdam Bubbles after years. And can we talk about the fireworks outside, the platforms where a pregnant (!) Rihanna dances so smoothly?
The ‘surprise guest’ they were teasing us about beforehand is in her belly — I don't think anyone guessed that correctly. That might mean that Rihanna is becoming a mother of Irish Twins, two children who are twelve months or less apart.
Alright, should we take another look then? This will be my thirtieth time.
