As a horror lover, I actually feel that I have to watch this movie. How bad can it be? I always had that optimism before: it's just a movie, everything is fake, how bad can it be... Until I saw District 9 where a nail was drilled into an eye and Un Chien Andalou where an eye is sliced open with a razor blade. Holy. Shitballs. Or holy eyeballs, I should say, since then I've been really anxious about everything related to eyes. 0/10 would not recommend.

Thriller Fall seems to be even worse than all of this combined, and I can understand that when I see the trailer. If you want to watch it below and you have a fear of heights: you are guaranteed to get sweaty palms from this. In this movie, two friends are going to climb an insanely high tower (while one of the two friends has suffered trauma after a failed mountain climbing adventure) and yes, it all goes horribly wrong. I really have absolutely nothing to do with heights, so I'm seriously skipping this one — I understand those panic attacks that are being talked about on Twitter.

If you love a good thriller and also have nothing to do with heights, then I have another tip for you.

That is The Strays, which can also be found on Netflix. A thriller where nothing is as it seems; Neve seems to lead the perfect life in a British suburb, but that is all deception. Her past won't leave her alone, and when two strangers come to visit her in the village, things seem to go even more wrong. After seeing the trailer, I was immediately sold; wonderfully grim, mysterious, and you want to know how it all unfolds. If you, like me, don't dare to watch the above movie, then this is a very good alternative.
