PornHub reveals the most popular search terms of 2023

This year we were all having a great time being kinky – hats off. Pornhub is certainly very happy about that, as they have had another great year. And they have also gathered a lot this year regarding preferences worldwide. I always find that amusing; I dare say there are very few people who honestly tell their potential partner what they always search for when they take a moment for themselves.

Especially when you hear what the most searched term on Pornhub was this year. Are you ready? Here it comes: the number of searches with the word ‘granny’ increased by no less than 132 percent and those with the word GILF (Grandma I’d Like To F…) even by 168 percent compared to last year.

But there were even more striking increases in the searches. The word ‘soldier’ saw an increase of 332 percent — crazy, right?

Also notable is that this year there was much more tailored searching. The number of searches with words like ‘big’, ‘bigger’, and ‘biggest’ increased by 177 percent and the number with ‘huge’ increased by 67 percent compared to last year. And yes, all these results are viewed globally.

Furthermore, AI has also reached the porn industry: the number of searches with ‘robot’ increased in popularity by 304 percent. Common terms included ‘sex robot’ and ‘AI robot’.

Well, if you look at it that way, that was quite a year for me. Thank goodness Pornhub is global, because if it only existed in the Netherlands, I fear for an increase in crompouce-like videos...
