When you launch a gloss in a stick, sometimes a bit of explanation is needed, because before you know it, you end up in a vicious circle of information that isn’t entirely accurate. For example, the super popular TikToker Merith came out with a video in which she applies the new Squirt Plumping Gloss Stick which then breaks quite quickly, to which NikkieTutorials she reacted because the same happened to her: the gloss also broke for her. This led us all to think that M.A.C, one of the biggest beauty brands, had released a less good, or what can I say: bad product, but it turns out to be less true. The Squirt Plumping Gloss Stick is, if you use it correctly, one of the most beautiful and also one of the most special items launched in years. The packaging only causes some confusion: you can twist the stick up and not retract it like a lipstick, it’s not made for that. You click a very thin layer up to let it melt on your lips for the softest, plumping, non-sticky, cared-for lips AND the very best news: it stays on much better than a lip gloss. The colors are also surprisingly beautiful, just check below how beautifully you can combine them with a lip pencil. I’m a fan!

@thelipsticklesbians I had to break down the nature of this very sensitive melting viral lip product, that I feel has been very misunderstood! It’s actually supposed to only be propel and not go back into the supported stick as it’s super soft, not that this is a bad thing this is actually the novelty. The way that it looks like melted butter paraffin on your lips— @maccosmetics was the OG when it came to lip gloss so I’m not surprised that they are at it again. Especially considering all the viral plumping soft melting textures we have seen this year. @makeupbymario, @YSL Beauty, @about-face, and @Kylie Cosmetics to name a few. Mac’s is the softest and most melting, also with a cooling and plumping twist more so than the other I named.
