I believe that having a fetish is no longer a taboo, but I can still be surprised by the enormous number of fetishes that exist. That people like to do it in places outside, want to be tied up or want to be watched, I honestly don't find that strange at all. But when I saw this top 20 from Google, with the most popular fetishes worldwide, I was quite taken aback by a few things.

For example, I never thought that a fetish for furries would rank so high – even in the top ten! In my mind, furries were something that mainly existed on the internet and a fetish for them was mostly a joke. Nothing could be further from the truth; this fetish is actually quite popular.

But there are also quite a few fetishes that I had simply never heard of, like the last one, number twenty: spectrophilia. That is when you get aroused by a reflection in the mirror, or by ghosts. Getting aroused by encounters between ghosts and humans is also part of it. Interesting, right?
