Nothing is as treacherous as the Dutch weather and the Buienrader app, which completely overlooked the rather heavy downpour. Just when you're on your way, it starts raining so hard that it feels like you're stepping under the shower, causing your makeup and mascara to run so badly that you look like a panda. One tip regarding your makeup: don't use a towel or tissue; waving your hands works best. Let your face dry to avoid stains, whereas for your mascara it’s wise to wear waterproof mascara for the time being or to apply a layer of Huda Beauty waterproof topcoat over your regular mascara (also works well for the gym).
