Yes, thriller and horror fans: this is going to be a delightful summer. We are getting at least one (hopefully) terrifying movie on our favorite streaming service, and it's one that you probably recognize. Bird Box with Sandra Bullock was a huge success and gave many viewers sleepless nights. Enough reason for Netflix to do it all over again, but this time on the other side of the ocean.

Yes, Bird Box goes Barcelona. The trailer is out and it looks really great. It starts off intense, heavy, and violent; exactly what we want in such a movie. The world population has been significantly reduced by a ‘mysterious force’, but Sebastian is one of the survivors. On the deserted streets of Barcelona, he tries to survive and escape with several other survivors. But just when he thinks he has a good group around him and believes they might even have a chance of survival, everything goes wrong.

Yes, this is going to be great, I'm sure of it. We just have to wait a little longer, because Bird Box Barcelona will only be on Netflix in the summer; on July 14 to be exact. Well, until then we can nicely rewatch the original Bird Box. By the way, Sandra Bullock unfortunately won't be seen in this edition. And, Netflix, now that you're at it: can Bird Box Amsterdam also be in the works? That would be awesome.
