Are you looking for a nice hotel in Rome

May has found it

May Rome hotel tip

Because we lived in Rome for half a year – where is that time machine that catapults me back to then? – I am often asked about a nice hotel. That is usually difficult, because we just lived there. After that, we stayed with friends we made during that half year. Honestly, I have a few spots that I really like, but I don't know if I would recommend them just like that. The location is top and you can get there by car, but it is also a bit musty and not really good for your Instafeed, shall I say.

But now I have found Palazzo Talia. Nestled in the heart of the Centro Storico, or the historic center of Rome. Walk down and you toss a coin in the Trevi Fountain, go west and you end up in the Jordaan-like Trastevere, and if you walk north, you first pass through the Via Condotti (the PC Hooftstraat of Rome) and stroll on to Villa Borghese, the beautiful park and museum with sculptures by Bernini, which I sometimes think back to softly.

All unique suites

Each room and suite has its own character where, it must be said, the classic core and modern elements melt like salted butter on a warm bun. You can keep it reasonably simple or go all out with a suite where you could comfortably live. The price is also equivalent to an average month's rent, so be warned.
If you are already throwing around your savings: you can also choose a special arrangement where roses and chilled champagne await you in your room, and you are served a three-course dinner in the restaurant. You will have to eat dry bread for three months afterward, but in the end, beautiful memories push aside the less beautiful ones, right?

It is simply a fantastic hotel in one of the most beautiful locations in the world. So if someone asks me where they should sleep from now on, I will say this. And I think I will go there myself too.
