B&B owner Thijz turns out not to be named Thijz at all

Everyone who chats about B&B Full of Love must have exaggeratedly said ‘Thijzzzz’ at least once in every conversation. It's not so strange that we find that name so striking: there are only five people counted in the Netherlands with this spelling for the name Thijz. But here’s the catch: this is not even his real name!

Thijz is a creative spirit, and he has unleashed that creativity on his name as well. Our friend is actually just called Matthijs. With an ‘s’, yes. A super normal name, clearly too simple and ordinary for this free spirit. Does Ammarie mind if she finds out that he actually has a completely normal name? Slim chance. Because Ammarie has also been tinkering with her name. She is simply called Annemarie Visser. Well, at least they both stayed close to reality, but they clearly couldn't help but translate their somewhat quirky characters into more original first names.
