Breaking news in Bachelor-land: are Rien and Femke breaking up?
Sad news from our Bachelor Rien: he and his love Femke are said to have broken up. They told Shownieuws that they are no longer together.
‘It’s true that unfortunately it’s over between me and Fem,’ says Rien. ‘We tried in different ways and places.’ Rien lives in Ibiza and Femke in Bali, although she is now back in Amsterdam. The couple also met in other places, such as in Paris, to undertake new things together. They met each other when they both participated in The Bachelor in Zanzibar. Rien fell head over heels for Femke and no longer doubted the other ladies; his final rose went to her. However, the connection they had in Zanzibar doesn’t seem to have returned in real life. In Zanzibar, the feeling was intense, the couple said earlier, but afterwards they couldn’t see each other for months. That was of course a crazy period.
Rien: ‘Unfortunately, it couldn’t hold up. That truly in-love feeling from Zanzibar hasn’t returned.’
