5 cheap tips to look a lot more chic

You want to know this, because with a few simple tricks you can uplift your entire outfit. Simple and especially cheap, and yet you look classy and chic right away.
It doesn't always have to be neat and dusted off, but come on, I'm almost 35 years old, mother of three children, and that means I don't want to walk around in a miniskirt in the summer anymore and that I'm also developing a new style. More classic, timeless, neutral items. And then occasionally a quirky denim jacket with sequins and smileys. Or a bit of glitter in the decent wide-leg jeans. That's a bit of the idea. But how do you look ‘expensive’ without any budget?
1. Wear neutral nail polish. No bright colors. No neon, no stickers, drawings, or other frills on your hands. It's fun for kids, not for adults. I love a beautifully maintained neutral nail polish color the most. Very light pink or light taupe or beige.
2. Don't wear too much jewelry. It distracts from who you are and you don't need it. Not sixteen necklaces and scarves and sunglasses and bracelets up to your elbows. You're, well, not a teenager anymore.
3. You wear nothing that doesn't fit you. As in: everything that is even a little too tight or too small, that's a shame, but you just get rid of it. To charity. Clothes that don't fit you are probably the most important fashion advice ever. Better something oversized than too tight, believe us.
4. Don't wear too short and not too revealing. No spaghetti tops to the office. No short skirts. That's not classy. And of course, choose your moments, because we're not grandmothers either. At a cool festival, you can go for short and colorful and quirky. Or at a huge party; of course, you can show some legs and shoulders then, but not with your kids in the playground or at work.
5. Wear socks that you can't see in your shoes. Simple, but we all tend to forget it in a hurry.
Make the most of it.
