Crazy about Mad Men, The Handmaid’s Tale and Peaky Blinders?
Then The Veil is your new addiction

Our app group Our app group went crazy when this message appeared on FilmVandaag. For several reasons. The Veil is made by the team behind Peaky Blinders and of course she is the Elisabeth Moss of The Handmaid’s Tale and Mad Men, the best series about the advertising world ever, where you can also indulge yourself in the colorful suits and the cigarettes that are shamelessly smoked.
Well, all of that is captured in The Veil, which will be available on Disney+ from May 29.
Perhaps redundant, because you will watch anyway: The Veil is about an experienced MI6 agent, Imogen Salter, who comes to the aid of Adilah El Idrissi (Yumna Marwan) during an undercover mission. The two women embark on a dangerous journey from Istanbul to Paris, creating a web of intrigue. The first three episodes were directed by Diana Reid (The Handmaid’s Tale) and the last by Damon Thomas (Killing Eve). So it will be enjoyable.
