Dining out and going out at the same time?
It can be at Bisou in De Pijp

I am very lucky to have a taste barometer sitting next to me. My sales director Daniëlle knows where it’s happening, and if not, her friends do. And then I tell you about it. This weekend she rolled out of restaurant Bisou on Albert Cuypstraat in Amsterdam around half past two (in the night).
Now Daniëlle finds atmosphere and entourage much more important than the food itself, but that was also incredibly good and tasty. Furthermore, the interior was playful, cheerful, the restrooms so delightfully disco-glamorous that you could easily hang out there for half an hour (I think she did that too), and meanwhile, two DJs were playing, making it not just a dull dining-out evening, but simply a night out with very delicious food.
The tagline of Bisou is ‘Come home in glamour’ (which I find very appealing) and the kitchen embraces everything that comes from the North Sea and Zeeland. I lived in Zeeland for years and these are my top spots there.
On Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights, it transforms into a club from 10:00 PM with great music, cocktails, and exceptionally good wines. A bit like Gigi in Paris, you could say. And to emphasize that Parisian chic-feeling, the team at Bisou also particularly enjoys it if you dress accordingly. If someone walks in wearing a stained tracksuit, they might point that out to you. So you know you’ll be in good company dress code-wise.
What do we find on the menu? Oysters of course (because French and Zeeland), crudités (so delicious Saint-Tropez), bouillabaisse, cockles from Zeeland, and a lovely French chicken.
Don’t all book at once because I want to go too. Or are we going at the same time?
