Do this with your hips and your panic attack will go away immediately

Everyone experiences it sometimes, right? That panic just completely takes over? I might be a bit hypochondriacal, but the fear can also become too much for me at times. Then I suddenly think, what if this happens to me or my children?
Brr. Panic attacks are common, especially in women. You become short of breath and feel suffocated, and you can't easily escape your negative thoughts. How do you get out of it? It turns out there is a very simple trick with your hips that works particularly well.
The idea behind this technique is based on body-oriented therapy and the connection between your body and nervous system. Stress and anxiety often cause tension in the pelvic area because this part of your body instinctively reacts to danger. What you need to do? Lie on the ground and place a (round) cushion under your hips. Essentially, you lie flat on your back, preferably on a mat, and you place something under your pelvic floor. This raises it a bit. This helps the circulation in your body and allows you to relax more quickly.
During a panic attack, you can get stuck in a stream of anxious thoughts. This movement directs your attention to your body and breaks the cycle of panic. You need to lie down for a moment and do something else. This is good for your mind because you then switch your focus. Away with those stupid negative thoughts. Keep breathing calmly and you can stay lying down for three to five minutes. Usually, it’s over after that period.
The nice thing is: even if you don’t have a panic attack, you can use this technique daily to reduce stress. Your blockages will open up and you will feel different energy flowing through your body. That’s good for everyone, right? Great to try out on your yoga mat. We could all use some extra zen time in December, right?
