Should Justin Timberlake go into rehab for 1 Martini?
It's all like that

The internet was in an uproar this week because Justin Timberlake he was arrested in The Hamptons for driving under the influence just a few days before his concert. A notable detail: the police officer who arrested him was apparently so young that he didn't recognize Justin. Now, driving with alcohol is of course incredibly stupid, dangerous, and wrong, and I would never want to downplay that. But now all American entertainment sites are speculating whether Justin Timberlake should check into a rehab clinic. If you voluntarily check into a rehab center in America, the penalty you receive for driving under the influence could be significantly lower. Many people do it out of a form of precaution. However, Justin doesn't seem to be planning this at all, and I can somewhat understand that. He has never been arrested for driving under the influence before, and nothing suggests that he has a bad relationship with alcohol or drugs. Again: I never want to condone driving under the influence, but we don't know how high his blood alcohol level was. Maybe it was just four beers (he says he only had one Martini) instead of two and it went wrong. That doesn't seem like rehab material to me. The stain that this could cast on your image is possibly greater than what you gain by knocking on the door of a rehab clinic. Moreover, his entire tour would then be derailed, it seems to me, because Justin is expected in Chicago and New York next week (these are our different than usual tips in New York) expected. I guess we'll hear about it. I'll keep you updated.
