Finally a perfect Father's Day gift

He happy, you happy

We almost have to again: looking for gifts for Father's Day. Especially if you've been with the same man for a quarter of a century like I have, it gets harder each year to come up with something original. By now, you've given everything and they've probably bought everything else themselves. However, last year I hit the jackpot and he was so happy with it that I'm sharing it with you now. First of all, I cleaned out our basement for my beloved. Not that we SM aspirations had, but it was so stuffed that you could hardly fit in it anymore. So I spent a few weekends on that: creating order in the chaos. Bought drawer organizers for nails and drill bits, put hammers with hammers, and work lights with work lights (suddenly we had three, that's what happens when you never clean up: you forget what you have), until I could put a vase with scent sticks in it and roll out the runner for him. That was part 1 of the gift.

Part 2 was something you can buy. Recommended by our handymen, so curated by the pros. A portable tool bag from Stanley. More flexible than a box, easy to carry and immediately organized. I hung screwdrivers on the outside, placed hammers at the bottom, stuffed a measuring tape in a pocket next to the compartment for the scissors, and as a finishing touch, I slid the level along the length of the bag. Wrap it up and score points. You can also order it from Bol just like that. In case you have a hardware store allergy.
