The Grammy glow of Miley Cyrus can be found at the drugstore
Thanks to the Grammys, I am suddenly completely captivated by it-girl Miley Cyrus; because she looked phe-no-me-nal. Have you seen her skin, hair, and beautiful body that she works so hard for (read all about it here)? Her makeup was done by makeup artist James Kaliardos. Did you see her eyes (!), that eyeliner, and that subtle golden glitter? Obsessed. Despite that layer of makeup, you could still see her skin texture and her healthy, beautiful glowy skin very well. In an interview, James mentioned that he wanted to focus on a ‘fresh-faced look’ and that was evident.
He used the collection from drugstore brand Cetaphil and if there is one brand that has positively changed my skin over the past few years, it is Cetaphil. I was tipped off about this brand by skin expert Annelijn van Ierland (from Skin clinic) for my extremely dry and sensitive skin. The cleanser and cream were my saviors in need and worked incredibly well. Since Miley also has sensitive skin that, according to James, could use some extra hydration, he started working with the Hydrating Foaming Cream Face Cleanser before he began her makeup look; this contains aloe vera and vitamin B, making your skin feel fresh. Then he grabbed the light, moisturizing, and fragrance-free cream with SPF Daily Facial Moisturizer With Sunscreen SPF 35, which does not clog your pores and works very well under makeup. For hydration and a velvety smooth skin and glow, he used his favorite (and mine too) the Moisturizing Lotion. What you will spend in total for this wonder trio? Less than €40,-. I would know if I were you, because we all want such beautiful glowy Miley skin, right? I was already a huge fan, but now even more.
