Harry and Meghan receive a lot of criticism due to this Netflix docu

By

As if the rumors about a possible divorce are not enough, Harry and Meghan now also have to brace themselves for the massive criticism they are receiving for their new Netflix docu ‘Polo’. As is known, the couple received an amount of 97 million to create some fun programs for the streaming service, and that went quite well. The productions in which they appeared themselves were well viewed. We are all still curious about what exactly goes on behind the front door of this special couple, and how the relationship between Harry and his brother William is doing.

Suddenly, Harry and Meg were done with it

It came quite out of the blue that the couple suddenly decided they no longer wanted to be in the spotlight in their own series. Now they have made a docu about one of Harry's great passions: the sport of polo. The unfortunate thing is: Harry himself is only seen for about 3 seconds in this show, and then it’s really only about quite spoiled boys whose parents have invested a lot to get them to this level of riding. FYI: I am a horse girl myself, these kinds of sport horses are not exactly cheap. Just think of Britt Dekker's horse, George: the rumor was that John de Mol had to pay 400,000 euros for Britt's dream horse.

This sport is therefore not really interesting for the average person

Except that I find it super sad for the horses (it’s really not good to keep stopping so hard, having to make abrupt sharp turns, and getting that hard ball against you) it’s really a super chaotic sport to watch. Polo is mainly fun for the riders, and the elite audience that can bet on the outcome. But for us, it’s not that interesting. If there were some intrigues woven into the series; a bit of drama, arguments, problems, and well, a bit of Harry and Meghan, then it would probably be watched a lot better. Maybe Meghan doesn’t want to be on screen anymore because she is really preparing for a new season of ‘Suits’..? We will have to be patient for a while before we get an answer to this question.
