Why everyone is talking about Love On The Spectrum

This is seriously the sweetest show currently available on Netflix. So sincere, so fun, so funny, and with the absolute best people. Reality with people who don’t want to become influencers is also refreshing. I’m of course talking about Love On The Spectrum, which I have written about before. There is a new season online that takes place in America this time, and it is going completely viral. For the right reasons: because the show is just so endearing.

The other seasons of Love On The Spectrum take place in Australia and follow different people in their search for love. In that respect, the Australian and American versions are exactly the same in concept (so definitely watch the Australian one if you like this one). As the name suggests, the participants are somewhere on the spectrum. Some have autism, some have Asperger's, and this year there is also a girl participating who has Down syndrome.

In total, there are eight people looking for love in this second season; we follow them during their first (and hopefully second) dates, while they are coached by Jennifer Cook O’Toole, their relationship coach.

If you have TikTok, Love On The Spectrum has probably already appeared on your For You Page, but really: give this series a chance. It is so hilarious, but in the sweetest way. I am currently more interested in their love lives than in my own; I really want them to find true love.

By the way, this is the second season of the American version, so the first season is also ready to binge. No romcom can compete with this.
