Love on the Spectrum is the best dating show on Netflix

Of course, we all watched Too Hot To Handle in droves, because you can never have enough guilty pleasures. And of course, only beautiful people with nearly perfect bodies participate. Intelligence is sometimes lacking (especially with Love Is Blind ), but that doesn't matter to us at all. But does it feel very 'real'? Nah. Love Is Blind had of course Lauren and Cameron who were complete #couplegoals, but everything was quite romanticized. Too Hot To HandleNow there is a new series online on Netflix: Love on the Spectrum. And I’ll be honest with you: I might like it even more than Love Is Blind. As the title suggests, it’s about singles who are somewhere on the spectrum. In terms of communication and making contact, they are not the strongest, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t waiting for love. Take Michael, who claims to have a ‘heart ten times too big’ and can't wait to meet his wife.
He’s also hilarious, mainly unintentionally, because he only speaks in complete sentences, very correctly and especially incredibly sincerely. So refreshing. Dating is often about presenting yourself a bit differently, not showing the back of your tongue, not letting.
on that you’re nervous… Not in this dating show, though. The Australian Maddi goes on a date with Mark, who also has a form of autism, and it’s really the cutest thing ever. When Mark compliments her on her necklace, he says so sincerely: 'That necklace looks beautiful on you. You should really be happy that you have such a beautiful necklace.' And at the end of the date: 'I really enjoyed it. You are truly so beautiful. I can't remember ever having such a nice evening.' SO SWEET.
There are so many hilarious moments in between, and so many touching ones. The parents of the ‘participants’ (almost all still live at home) talk so lovingly about their children and wish them love so much. The innocent statements from the cast that come from their hearts and come across as incredibly dry. Really, you have to watch this, it’s so fun.
