Who, what? Yes, this is her real-life Ken. Her husband is a British film producer and they met – how else – on a film set. Margot is an Australian actress who had a role in the war drama Suite Française in 2013. The spark flew, they started dating and the rest is history. They don’t say that in English, but it sounds nice. Margot Robbie gained worldwide recognition for her role as Naomi Lapaglia in the film ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’ (2013): her breakthrough began. At that stage of her life, Margot was not exactly open to a relationship, she honestly says. ‘The thought of a relationship almost made me throw up. And we were just friends. Of course, I always found him attractive, but I didn’t want to ruin it. I thought, then he’ll think, get a grip on your crush. But it clicked naturally. One day we were a couple and nothing has ever felt as familiar as that.’
The bizarre thing about this couple is: they almost never appear together in public. They are more often seen separately on the red carpet than together. They keep their private life nice and private, so to speak. Margot: ‘I always get nervous when I start something new. I’m so afraid that I’ll completely fail, that people will think I can’t act at all. Then I say that to my husband and he mumbles something back like: ‘It will be fine, you always think that, but you manage it every time. We do it together in life.” The two have a production company and therefore also work closely together in the Hollywood scene.
