New on Netflix: a fantastic drama series with Nicole Kidman

Although my watchlist keeps getting longer, there is one title that I lovingly add to it. Starting September 5, the new miniseries ‘The perfect couple’ will be released. A show full of drama and mystery. And with Nicole Kidman in the lead role, it can hardly be anything but enjoyable.

‘The perfect couple’ will consist of six episodes and is based on the novel of the same name by Elin Hilderbrand. We follow Amelia Sachs (Eve Hewson) who is about to marry the wealthy Benji Winbury. No expense is spared to make the day as memorable as possible, while Benji's mother Greer (Kidman) is actually not happy about the marriage at all.

That it will be a day to remember becomes clear very quickly. It's just not for the right reasons. On the island of Nantucket, where the wedding takes place, a body is found just before all the festivities really begin. From that moment on, everyone present is a suspect. What happened? Who has something to hide? What role does money play in a murder investigation? Just after watching the trailer, you're filled with questions. To get answers and discover what really happened, there's only one thing to do: binge!

More Nicole Kidman? Then watch ‘Nine perfect strangers’, ‘The undoing’ or ‘Expats’. For her latest role, we still have to be patient. ‘Babygirl’ from ‘our own’ Halina Reijn will be in theaters starting late December. We will also add that to our watchlist. Fortunately, we were able to admire the two at the Venice Film Festival.
