Suffering from hangxiety? Thanks to these three products, you won't feel anxious and hungover anymore.

There was a time when I went a whole year without a drop of alcohol. Not even because my alcohol consumption was that intense — I drank at most two to three times a month — or because my hangovers were hellish. It was more the hangxiety that kept getting the better of me. For those who don't know it yet: a hangover a.k.a. hangover that comes with an anxious feeling a.k.a. anxiety. You overthink every possible situation that happened the day before, you dread Monday even more, and you can burst into tears at any given moment of the day. If I may speak from experience, it’s even more annoying than a hangover.

But just like a trip through the McDrive might help with a hangover, dealing with hangxiety is a bit more complicated. Something else is really needed for this, and if we are to believe the guinea pigs on TikTok, a remedy has finally been found. I’ll tell, you listen.

It’s a combination of three remedies. And unfortunately, you probably don’t have them in your kitchen cabinet yet. For this, you’ll need to stop by your nearest drugstore before heading out. The first remedy you’re going to need is ORS powder, you’ve probably heard of it. This powder full of salts and glucose, which you dissolve in water and drink before sleeping, should help with the physical complaints of a hangover like dehydration. I’ll be honest: it’s far from pleasant, but it does its job and that’s what matters.

Number two on the shopping list is magnesium pills. Although they will have zero effect on your physical hangover, magnesium works well against the mental hangover. This is because it has a calming effect on stress levels and anxiety, which makes your hangxiety disappear like snow in the sun. But there is a small side note: to really notice a difference, it is recommended to take magnesium daily for a longer period, otherwise the chance that it works is much smaller.

And if you thought that a whole glass of ORS and a magnesium pill before sleeping was enough: unfortunately not. There is still one last step missing: a source of vitamin B. This should help against the nausea that you inevitably experience during your hangover day and that you want to get rid of as soon as possible. Again, the longer you take this supplement, the better the result.

There’s a good chance you’re only reading this after the damage has already been done. For those unfortunate ones: all the things you think when you have a hangover that you need at least four days to recover. Hopefully, with this golden trio, you’ll be done with it once and for all.
