The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills are back
A preview of the sleaze

There are I don't know how many ‘franchise branches’ of The Real Housewives, but the one from Beverly Hills is of course the mother of all housewives. And tonight season starts, I would almost say, twenty… no, season 14. But it feels like a lifetime, doesn’t it?
What can we expect?
What can we expect from this season in which almost all protagonists are now divorced and single?
Well, a lot if we are to believe the trailer. And I do, you know. Especially between Dorit and Kyle it sparks heavily.
The separation between Mauricio and Kyle (they seemed like the last couple standing in Hollywood, but turned out not to withstand all the temptations in the garden of Eden).
Crystal and Annemarie exit
Crystal is out of the series, something I can understand, because the only spice she provided was her bickering with Sutton, but big drama? Meh.
Furthermore, Annemarie Wiley has left the Housewives stage and joins the illustrious list of one-season Housewives like Carlton, Eden Sassoon (the daughter of Vidal Sassoon), Kathryn Edwards, Joyce Giraud, and Diana Jenkins. Against her will, as it turned out from her Instagram post where she said she was ‘very disappointed’ and upset. She was dragged in two weeks before production started and had no chance to develop her character. Because you know: a real Housewife has a storyline. If nothing exciting happens in your life and you are not willing to fight all season, you fly out with a big arc. the coveted postcode area .
New housewife in town
Furthermore, there is a new character that is expected to deliver a lot: Bozoma Saint John. A marketing hotshot who worked at Apple, Netflix, Beats, Uber, and Pepsi.
The stamp pad Dorit
I am looking forward, forgive me my primal needs, immensely to Dorit Kemsley, who always flirted so much with her perfect picture and goes through life like a stamp pad labeled by life. She is my guilty pleasure.
And oh, I always love Kyle Richards and find it brave how she, at least according to me, shapes her divorce in a way that shows respect towards the father of her children. And how clever that she has been sober for almost two years. Sober, but certainly not gloomy.
Anyway, I am going to enjoy the couch tonight, after a long day of work and appointments in the middle of the country, with my old friends. Tomorrow catch up?
