Do you have little interest in that sports class and can't remember the last time you sweated on a treadmill? Don't worry: you are probably very happy.
Those who spend little time in the gym are actually very happy in love.
How is that possible? Simple: you are just happy together and therefore you don't mind as much if a few kilos are added or if you are just a bit less fit. The hunt is over, you are provided with a happy relationship. You enjoy dining out together, having a drink somewhere on the terrace, or just hanging out with a group of friends. You want to take trips and weekends away and find exercising a lot of hassle. It's not in your system and it's not in his system either. You're just being lazy. And because he is not sporty either, you aren't and you don't feel that pressure. It's wonderfully calm.
But do keep in mind: exercising is important to keep your relationship healthy in the long term. Physical activity can reduce stress, increase self-confidence, and enhance feelings of well-being, all of which can have positive effects on someone's ability to form and maintain relationships. And it's just healthy for you: not only for your figure but also for your muscles and mind. So do you want to stay happily ever after? Then you will have to believe in it. Very occasionally, not too often. It doesn't have to be a lot. But at least sign up at a trendy gym. Who knows, you might accidentally go once.
