How often you need to go to the bathroom per day
It is more often than you think

I really know it and always do it too little: drink water. This summer I had even drunk so little water and sat in the sun all day while watching two Olympic hockey matches (especially this man) looked at, that my skin just stood up when I lifted it. So that's not good.
You should drink 1.5 to 2 liters of water per day. Why? Because our body consists of 60% water and our brains even 90%. Water is needed to digest our food, keep your skin in condition, and to make your kidneys work. But your brain functions are also affected by water. Drinking more water improves your short-term memory and also helps with weight loss. So.
But there is a simple check to see if you are drinking enough water, and you don't need an expensive Stanley cup for that. Because you can have that whole Stanley cup empty, if you also have 5 coffees and three glasses of wine downed – real diuretics – you still have too little.
So: it mainly comes down to whether you go to the toilet often enough. Do you pee six to seven times a day? Then you're good.
Second check? Just look back and inspect the color. The clearer your urine, the better you are doing.
