A Bridget Jones 4 is coming

I devoured Bridget Jones 1 and 2. Multiple times, both the movies and the books. Rarely have I seen films with such a loud-laugh concentration. I recently tried to shove Bridget Jones into my daughter's favorites list, but the movie was just too outdated. As in: slow. And man, everyone smoked. And everywhere.

Now we can have a second chance, because there is a Bridget Jones 4 coming and I am looking forward to it.

1. London
It takes place again in the heart of London and we all love that so much. The creators are still looking for a house for Renée Zellweger where she can live during the filming, so if anyone knows anything? By the way, she will be living there with her 44-year-old lover Ant Anstead.

2. The cast
Renée Zellweger will be back on board, just like Colin Firth and Hugh Grant.

3. The dialogues
If I love someone's ‘pen’, it's Helen Fielding's. She is responsible for the scripts of the other films, together with Richard Curtis and Andrew Davis. I hope this trio also provides the scripts for part 4.

4. In May, filming will restart and that will be exactly 23 years after the first Bridget Jones film was released. That means almost a quarter of a century of weight struggles, an overload of chardonnay, cigarettes, lovers, disappointments, and hilarity.
