This is how you make the ultimate Crispy Chili Eggs

Eggs are one of the most versatile and beloved ingredients in kitchens around the world. And so it is at the editorial office of FavorFlav. Sure, a simple scrambled egg or luxurious Eggs Benedict is really delicious. But if you're looking for an exciting, flavorful twist on the traditional egg dish, then Crispy Chili Eggs are exactly what you need. This culinary creation combines the softness of a fluffy omelet with the spicy, crunchy kick of crispy chili.
Crispy chili in oil. It's a stubborn addiction. It all started with the mother of crispy chili oils: Old Mother Crispy Chilli in oil. For four euros, you can score a jar at Albert Heijn (many other supermarkets sell it now too). Since then, I've been happily experimenting with crispy chili oil. The combination with vanilla ice cream was amazing, but my chicken marinade is now legendary and you can guess what is not missing here. Exactly: a generous spoonful of this divine stuff.
THE MAGIC OF CRISPY CHILI EGGS
Crispy Chili Eggs are a fantastic way to elevate your breakfast, brunch, or dinner. The reasons why these eggs are such a success?
1. Hello flavor explosion! The combination of soft, fluffy eggs and crunchy chili creates an irresistible flavor explosion. And the heat of the chili perfectly complements the mild flavor of the egg. If you dose the crispy chili oil well, this is a dish that is perfectly balanced.
2. Texture contrast: the crunchiness of the chili with the creamy texture of the egg; this works like crazy.
3. Protein bomb: with such an omelet, you immediately get a load of protein. I won't make health claims, as there is quite a bit of sugar in a jar of Old Mother. By the way, sugar in your omelet is a surprisingly good idea, did you know that?
4. Endless variation: also so nice, you can endlessly vary with the basic recipe of eggs and crispy chili oil. For example, I find Parmesan cheese very tasty in it for an extra umami kick. Thinly sliced zucchini, tomato, eggplant (make sure your eggplant is nice and soft); it can all be done. For some extra carbohydrates and fats, it's also very nice in a wrap, topped with avocado. Cooking is freestyling, so you do you!
