This makes The Bachelor this season twice as spicy

Tomorrow the third season of The Bachelor will be on Videoland and I've been told that this season is going to be much spicier than before. There is an important plot twist...

The idea of the show is that a group of women is flown to a warm country where they are introduced to one super attractive man. This man can invite the ladies on dates one by one to get to know them better, allowing him to find out if one of them is his perfect match.

Of course, this ultimately creates quite a bit of tension among the women, especially when there are kisses or extremely deep conversations between the bachelor and one of the contestants. I always found it a bit complicated that this tension and arguments between the women are fixed ingredients of this program. I'm not fond of women being pitted against each other, especially not when the arguments are about a man. And that is exactly what makes this season so interesting. Now it's not just the women who have to do their best, the men do too. Yes, you read that right: two men!

It is still the men who hand out the roses, but when both give a rose to the same woman, she will be the one who has to make the choice between the two. The fact that the women gain power through this makes it a bit more feminist-responsible for me to watch.
