Drive a little further, because just two hours away you will find the equally cool Leipzig. Leipzig is now known as a breeding ground for creativity and innovation. The many lakes around the city, such as Cospudener See, are popular spots for swimming, sailing, and sunbathing during the warm summer months. And it's more affordable than Berlin, that's for sure. Eating and drinking will definitely cost you less – and your stay too.
