Beautiful Italy. You could go there this summer: the chic Lake Como in Italy. Lago di Como or Lario: romantic, handsome, cozy, atmosphere, sun, color, and delicious food. What more could a vacationer want?

Lake Como, located in the beautiful Italian lake district, is a vacation destination that has enchanted the hearts of travelers for centuries. With its breathtaking natural beauty, picturesque villages, and historical charm, Lake Como attracts millions of visitors from all over the world each year. You can sleep beautifully in those Italian hotels or in your own little house, so cozy. Everything around the lake: sailing, swimming, and sunbathing. It is alive, it is bustling. Delightful.

Lake Como is surrounded by lush green hills, with the majestic Alps in the background. The lake itself, with its crystal-clear water, is a wonderful place to swim, sail, and practice water sports. Everywhere you find colorful flowers, cheerful gardens, and bustling promenades where you can stroll and enjoy drinks. Along Lake Como lie numerous enchanting villages and towns, each with its own unique charm. From the vibrant Bellagio to the romantic Varenna and the picturesque Menaggio; I will definitely take a peek here this summer. Shopping. I am going to stay with my three small children and husband in a cozy little house near Lake Como, where the rest of the family is also nearby.

This summer we are going for local specialties in Italy such as risotto with fish from the lake, fresh pasta, polenta, and of course the famous Italian gelato. Be sure to visit local markets, vineyards, and cheese farms to discover the flavors of the region. And sit on such a tiny terrace with that beautiful view over the lake and the mountains and nature. What a luxurious place on earth. Can’t wait. How do they say that in Italian?
