Eindelijk 50
How Victoria was taken away by David

She of course knew it was coming: that 50th birthday had been marked in Victoria’s calendar for about three years. Milestones are celebrated well and memorably by the Beckhams. The British tabloids have been grazing for years in the green pasture that Victoria Beckham presents them with news about her procedures and all the tricks she pulls to look as fresh and fruity as possible. And with results. After the Beckham docu and the Uber Eats commercial, we have possibly loved her even more. At least, I have.
Saturday was the day: Victoria Beckham celebrated her fiftieth birthday. She didn’t do it at the local bowling alley, but at Oswald’s, a private member club in London. Who was there? Her whole family of course, Tom Cruise, Salma Hayek, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, and Eva Longoria, and this is where the real fun began, all the Spice Girls. They even danced to Stop Right Now with all the girls, and there was speculation on Insta, I assume for fun, about a reunion date. Because Victoria’s leg (she broke it at the end of February due to a little mishap in the gym) is still not quite up to a night of hard dancing and partying, she left the venue on David’s back. With that, we immediately have the sweetest moment, as far as I’m concerned. And the look on David’s face as he films the Spice Girls dancing. His caption ‘I mean come on’ I repeat here to conclude: Victoria Beckham, I mean, come on. Here’s to the next fifty. If anyone can fix that, it’s you.
